Custom Tree Maintenance Plans

Taylor Tree Co. recommends a preventive care program for your landscape trees. Regular maintenance, designed to promote plant health and vigor, ensures their value will continue to grow. Preventing a problem is much less costly and time-consuming than curing one once it has developed. An effective maintenance program, including regular inspections and the necessary follow-up care of mulching, fertilizing, and pruning, can detect problems and correct them before they become damaging or fatal. Considering that many tree species can live up to 200 to 300 years. By including these practices now, your investment will offer enjoyment and value for generations.

Tree & Shrub Maintenance

The size and type of your trees and shrubs affect the difficulty with which some maintenance tasks can be completed, and we will determine what type of equipment will be needed for the job.

Tree & Shrub Trimming

A common maintenance task for trees and shrubbery is pruning and trimming. The size and type of plants and the density of foliage may contribute to service rates. Low shrubs that can be trimmed from the ground or a ladder are simpler, safer, and often faster to handle than limbs and branches of large trees. The type of lift equipment, traffic control, or power shut-off is required to manage tree trimming, project rates may increase significantly, however they may decrease significantly due to the type of equipment we use.

Tree & Shrub Treatments & Protection

Fertilizers, soil treatments, and spray applications to prevent pests and diseases are important for the health of many shrubs and trees. The nature of treatments and application methods affect service rates. Since treatments may vary with climate, soil conditions, plant types, and pest threats, our Arborist will assess your trees and shrubs to determine which treatments are appropriate and how the size of your yard and number of trees and shrubs will influence pricing.

Tree & Shrub Removal

Whether for aesthetic or practical purposes, removing shrubs and trees is a substantial project that may require special equipment and machinery. Several factors affect project rates, such as size, condition, and location. Many shrubs can be removed with manpower and hand tools, while removing larger plants may require chainsaws, bobcats, and equipment to cut down the shrub and pull it from the ground. Removing trees may require extensive trimming with chainsaws, with the addition of stump removal, log cutting, and debris hauling, adding to project costs.
